  5. That will be good! Then I can give someone an earful!
  6. Hey I found a temporary fix for anyone that needs it. You don't actually have to download anything. With notepad you open a new window and copy paste everything below this line intp it. Once you have that done simply save the new file with the "reg" 3 digit extension not "txt" for text on the end. That will see the new reg mod created. "Windows Photo Viewer.reg" should work. Found this over at the MS answers site. ___________________________________ Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.jpg] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.jpeg] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.gif] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.png] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.bmp] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.tiff] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff" ; Change Extension's File Type [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.ico] @="PhotoViewer.FileAssoc.Tiff"
  7. Hey I wanted to stop back in and say the mod did the trick here! With the new build that just came out going on it knocked the photo viewer out again! That's one of my gag screens I pull at times.
  8. Hi tunescool I kind of have to agree since the new photo app is something else!
  9. The new build is on and seems to be going ok. But I hear others have been running into some issues like the snipping tool doesn't work.

  13. I really have to apologize for not getting in here sooner to shout a BIG HELLO! to everyone! I forgot?! Sorry!
  14. You're Welcome! See it wasn't that hard at all. And if your laptop has it's own dvd drive there you can rip tracks directly from the cd there. That will also save on time since you still may want to see each track renamed.
  15. Thanks a lot for the flowers! Night Hawk (thread hijacker! ) One other thing you forgot to mention is not wanting the media updated from the web where your music folders will end up with a mountain of album cover jpeg files. When going to create a new list you will end up dragging those in as well! In the Privacy tab be sure the second check box under the Specialty privacy settings is left unchecked or uncheck that and click the apply button since that will help prevent all the clutter you would see otherwise.
