Great release! Too bad, we aren't the first on net and we never possible to be first on net. They already leaked Vista SP1 RTM on February 7. Even Neowin has the leak but it's deleted after a while. We are proud to have this release, sadly we aren't the first one.

Hi there,

just wondering if Antone's is having trouble with step 6? every time I right-click "SP1-install_part2.cmd", I get the command window popping up then the HDD looks like its doing something for 5 minutes then nothing. I have tried it twice but I haven't been prompted to restart. any suggestions?

Thanks,

Morgan

Did you run it as Administrator? And make sure you are in Administrator account. And please note: "This may take long time until the small white box appear".

will these steps work with 64 bit version of vista? I think I probably need different update files, does anyone know what those would be by any chance? Thanks.

I know SP1 RTM is out for x64 too. I had RC1, but uninstalled it so that I could get RTM. I just need someone to point me in the right direction of the 64 bit files
