I like the temporary red (New Years) theme before you log in.
Why not have it as a WF skin choice?

Hi eyeCpc,

And how would I go about changing that?
I have 2 skin choices at the bottom of the board, WF3 and WF3 Lo-Fi

All that does is open a side panel to show History. It also doesn't matter whether I'm using Firefox or IE, same 2 choices, signed in or not.

Have you tried logging out and bouncing the web for a few minutes to log back in? It sounds like your browser isn't refreshing things like it should. Are you seeing this with IE or FireFox? When signing in with Opera I still see all the themes.

When not signed in however you will only see two items in the list. What does that tell you? The new there is an option for all "members" not for simply those passing by.

Well, I just downloaded and installed Opera and I still only have the 2 choices.

I find that one a bit odd unless you still need a few things like the flash for FireFox and Opera as well as other addons. Here's a look at the Opera 10.10 with Unite no problems. In fact it opened right up to the new theme!

The file you need being the OperaFireFoxInstallFlashPlayer.exe is ready for download. http://share.windows...h_mq1SwbZ1RQEE/

The latest Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.42.34 supporting Windows, Firefox, Safari, Opera is now available at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Have you tried the Apple Safari? I'm able to load the site in all the browsers, Opera, Mozilla, IE and Safari, with the new theme.

I still find this a bit odd since the Opera install here didn't even see the compatible Flash Player installed until already posting the screen there. There's also no setting in the User Control Panel that would disable the theme selection once logged in.

I would go through the preferences and tools in Opera but I suspect you likely saw an incomplete or bad install of the browser unless you made some changes in settings. I can boot 98 on Virtual Box and still see the choices for all themes there with what IE 5.0.

Doesn't matter what browser I use, I've tried them all, still only 2 choices.
I have the current flash players, java.

Is it just me or do other members besides management have this problem?
Right now it seems like you guys are the only ones who have the extra themes.
How can you tell if I'm the only one? I feel left out Posted Image

I find it a bit odd too.

The only time I run into only seeing the choice of two themes only is when not logged in at all on the XP Mode.

Posted Image

And even without being logged in having just fired up the XP Mode for that on the second sata drive's 64bit 7 installation there I still see the new theme applied.

Posted Image

So far you are the only one not seeing the new theme itself. Once I am logged in on the XP Mode the options are then available suggesting you may have something set wrong.

Posted Image

The only way to know for sure however would be to ask around to see if anyone else is running into any similar problem. You may have to wake a few people up however! Posted Image

So you were not able to see our Windows 7 skin either?

Nope and I just did another clean install of Vista and Firefox, no tweaks, no add-ons and still only see the 2 choices, so I really think it's not me or my machine.

Right now I'm on my wife's laptop using Firefox and MSN and still only 2 choices.

It must be a permissions issue.

Everything I bolded above is happening to me too.

Glad you let us know you are seeing the same thing. That will rule out being limited to one person only!

Now look on the right side directly across from where it says "View the latest news" for a small "X" right under the search box! Notice where the arrow is pointing in the image here. The dropdown for themes however is working normally here. I'm waiting to hear from some others people we know to see if they are running into this at all.

Posted Image

Once the "members online" came back the column for new topics and top posted were simply closed up where clicking on the same X restored the split screen view rather then just seeing the main index stretched all the way across the screen.

I think that's where you both need to look.

I'm not running into any of that here but are now no longer seeing the sponsored ads being displayed on any page! I beginning to think the bug is on the server side.
